But I could not get the different elements to move in sync (or rather, slightly out of sync) like a wanted, so I've had to change it to a static horizon. I won't go into the details here, except to say that originally, the last shot was a panning, tilting move up to the horizon. There's a lot going on technically in this show. A show is built out of layers, a layer is built out of keyframes and a keyframe contains properties you set with the 3 sliders. The current version of BluffTitler features 10 different layers: Camera, Light, Text, EPS, Picture, Video, Video Capture, Plasma, Particle, and Audio. I've added an introduction, which sets the scene, for anyone who does not know much about Apollo 8. Every layer has its own effects and can be animated independently. I've tinkered with the show over the years. Bring those two things together, and you've got a slideshow. I got the idea for this show on Christmas Day, five years ago, when, remembering the flight, I had my father read the beginning of Genesis. My father does the narration, and he is not a professional narrator (neither were the astronauts!) But, since it's the 50th anniversary of the flight, I'll post it. I have not posted it before because it's a little, shall we say, personal to my family. It's a little late for Christmas, I know, but I'll share it anyway.
