The game detects the gamepad correctly and I can use it, but the missing KBM cursor issue is present wether or not the gamepad is turned on (although technically the wireless adaptor dongle is always turned on). *I have a standard Xbox360 controller connected via a wireless adaptor. *I run 3 monitors, with my primary monitor positioned in the center. Some information that might help troubleshooting the problem: Is this a new issue for you or how long have you had it? I only started playing this game about 2-3 days ago, and first tried the VR mode yesterday, so I cannot say if the issue was present in earlier builds or not. The cursor is clearly being detected by the game, but there's no indicator.Īnd on top of all that, it also seems like the cursor plane is NOT bound to where I'm looking, so if change where I'm looking, the cursor does not follow. This is how you make the game look good without killing your computer.Originally posted by Ulithium_Dragon:Yeah, same here. You have to exit the game to change SuperSampling so do that, increase SS a bit and test it, repeat until you reach a level where your FPS is at a stable 90 Hz and you'll be good to go. There will be more jaggies with FXAA but TAA blurs the whole screen so instead we use FXAA as a base and then use Steam SuperSampling to smooth out the remaining jaggies so the last step is to turn that back on. Make sure the game runs well and lower things like Ambient Occlusion if it doesn't. Then start the game, turn off TAA and enable FXAA instead. You need to do some tweaking so first of all set your Index to 90 Hz like a normal person and lower Steam SuperSampling to 100% (Turn it off). 1 Console Enable 2 Input Box Use 3 Developer Menu 3.1 In the Pause Menu 4 List of Commands 4.1 Basics 4.2 Events 4.3 General 4.4 Technical 4.5 Teleports Console Enable With the recent Living Large Update, the input to access the dev console has changed. The game will tax the performance of any computer because it's poorly optimized even without VR so you can't just crank up everything to max and head in with your Index at 120 Hz. I've been playing Subnautica in VR for two years on several VR kits and even on the bare minimum hardware for VR, the game is beautiful and runs ok on all of them.
